Universal Hydraulik GmbH has been developing ASME coolers for more than a year now on the basis of the hybrid coolers.
The final certification according to ASME Section V III, Div. 1, was granted on the 23rd of October 2017.

Failsafe coolers match to Predictive Maintenance 4.0 !
Universal Hydraulik GmbH produce since decades Failsafe heat exchangers, which are suitable for Industry 4.0, because of 100% electronic monitoring.
The new hybrid-failsafe coolers reduce the size to 1/3 of the previous size. The electronic monitoring system triggers an alarm for any type of leakage. The "second heat exchanger" (double tube design) can continue to be used up to it’s replacement after an alarm message. This guarantees 100% safety of the system.
If an existing hybrid design is used, this size can be converted into a failsafe coolers without any change. The additional costs for the standard cooler also remain moderate.

Hybrid Cooler series up to 5.000 kW
Universal Hydraulik GmbH expanded the hybrid cooler series by the next size: SCM-4000 (DN500).
Thus, the success model now covers a spectrum of 2 kW up to 5,000 kW cooling capacity with 8 sizes !!
- Completely or partly available in stainless steel
- higher pressures or temperatures available
- 100% internal bypass-valve (check-valve) replaces an external piping with check-valve
Predictive Maintenance 4.0 Cooling-heating system
Universal Hydraulik GmbH introduces a cooling-heating system, which is equipped with an electronic control unit (Siemens S7-1500).
The sensor data is used for the heating and cooling control and sent the data to a PC via a network connection, on which the sensor data is evaluated. The sensors are cross-linked via an IO-Link connection. The evaluation is realized with the Smart Observer software from ifm.
TFS/A – series extended to 32 kW
Universal Hydraulik GmbH is expanding its oil-air cooler-pump series by a size of up to 32 kW cooling capacity at an oil flow of 80 l/min.
Special solutions: High pressure cooler (500bar)
Universal Hydraulik GmbH can now offer coolers for very high pressures up to 500 bar. The coolers are completely welded (also the tube side) and are suitable for fluids and gases.
Frequency control for Hydraulic units:

The constant-pump is controlled by a frequency converter, which depends on a pressure sensor.
The aim is to reduce power loss and noise emission.

Electrical control systems
We plan and engineer customized electrical control systesm for test stands and hydraulic power units (HPU’s).
We offer standardized electrical controls for our heat exchangers (heating and cooling), but could customize them also.
With digital networks for hydraulics sensors are industry 4.0 application possible.
